**Mō te tūranga | About the role** This Scheme Lead Officer position that would ideally suit someone with foreman/team leadership experience and enjoys working on a variety of tasks that will involve you in leading a small team of staff and assisting them with; flood protection asset maintenance such as: * Floodgates, stopbanks, pumpstations and other, drain spraying, fencing, assisting contractors, river, stream and drain inspection, minor construction, chainsaw & tree felling, planting & releasing. * Emergency/Event response incl Civil Defence roles. * The health and safety of our employees
